This Billboard 12 inch Singles/Dance chart has many tracks that were on heavy rotation in the top gay clubs alongside current Hi-NRG hits. Entries from the likes of Dead Or Alive, Natalie Cole and Lime had more chance of becoming mainsteram in the USA, whereas in the UK, apart from Limahl and Dead Or Alive, these tracks remained firmly in the gay clubs and failed to get much mainstream interest or play at all.
