Sheryl Lee Ralph’s ‘InThe Evening’ became one of the most enduringly popular gay disco hits of all time, whilst from this chart, DJs would mix the likes of Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Maria Vidal into the current stock of Hi-NRG tracks.
