There is no Radio Stad Den Haag Chart available this week, but using the chart positions from 6th August 1983, the following tracks were new entries in the RSDH chart this week:
Part Two Nightclub Nottingham Playlist Chart July 1983
Part Two Nightclub was the premier gay nightclub in Nottingham, one of the main cities in the East Midlands of England. Their charts were submitted to Alan Jones at Record Mirror magazine to count towards the Record Mirror Boystown Disco/Hi-NRG charts.

US Dance Chart 30th July 1983
This US dance chart dance chart was published in the NME magazine and shows how much American dance floors had taken to the San Francisco Boystown and Hi-NRG sound unlike the British mainstream dance clubs, which focussed their music policy mainly on soul and black music. In this chart, there are tracks from Miquel Brown and Oh Romeo that firstly made their mark in gay club DJ sets and then remained firmly in the gay clubs in the UK, mostly failing to get any mainstream interest or play at all. Some of the rock and synth pop tracks, like Yazoo’s ‘State Farm’ and ‘Nobody’s Diary’ and Eurythmics’ ‘Sweet Dreams’, as well as Blancmange, Donna Summer, Irene Cara and The Twins from this chart, would also find their way into Boystown Disco D J sets, especially in the larger American gay clubs, and to a certain extent in British gay clubs too.
