There don’t appear to be any Boystown Disco charts published in Record Mirror for 18th and 25th September 1982. These charts are printed again from 2nd October 1982.
Billboard Hot Dance Chart 25th September 1982
By way of comparison here is the Billboard Dance chart for the last week of September 1982. It has a good showing of Boystown and Hi-NRG, as well as Synth Pop tracks, unlike the British mainstream dance clubs, which focussed their music policy mainly on soul and black music. There’s also a good smattering of synth and rock pop tracks from Yazoo, Melissa Manchester and Billy Idol, which would find their way into in gay club DJ mix sets.
