Over the years the Hi-NRG Charts were printed in Record Mirror, rumours and accusations of chart rigging were often voiced amongst the DJs and those on the scene. In a bid to counter these accusations, James Hamilton produced an alternative Hi-NRG chart this week, made up from what he called the more General Venues, excluding chart returns from the major clubs like Heaven in London.
